In January, car manufacturers began to adjust price lists in Russia, and the scale of the price increases will only become clear at the end of the first working week, writes the director of the analytical agency “Avtostat”, Sergey Tselikov. However, it is already evident that the wave of increases will be widespread and long-lasting.

In the new year, the following brands have updated their prices: Lada, Moskvich, UAZ, Belgee, Solaris, Omoda, Tenet, Tank, as well as Xcite — which is liquidating its last stocks, he notes.

Six other brands increased their prices in the last two working days of 2025, calculated the auto expert and former president of the Association of Auto Dealers in Russia, Oleg Moseev.

Chery, a Chinese brand, has increased the prices for all models and versions of the years 2024–2025 — from Tiggo 4, a budget model, to Tiggo 9, the top of the range — by 45–90 thousand rubles, which is approximately 2–3%. Moseev believes that price increases are an inevitable long-term trend.
