Vladislav Golovin, accused of war crimes during the conquest of Mariupol, will hold a prominent place on the United Russia party list, led by Vladimir Putin, in the State Duma elections this autumn.
Vladislav Golovin commanded a platoon of marines during the conquest of Mariupol and is associated with the deportation of Ukrainian children to Russia, under the pretext of “reeducation” and their militarization, according to the Ukrainian project “War and Sanctions,” writes dialog.
In 2022, President Vladimir Putin awarded him the title of Hero of Russia. Subsequently, Golovin completed the “Time of Heroes” program and joined the leadership of the Yunarmiya organization, responsible for training young Russian schoolchildren.
His inclusion on the federal list of the party seems not to be a coincidence, but a demonstrative gesture.
Golovin will hold the fourth place on the party list, alongside Dmitri Medvedev and Sergei Lavrov.
Sources claim that the party needs a “veteran of special operations” among its leaders.
