An Ilyushin-76 plane flew last Thursday from Iran to Russia. On board the aircraft was allegedly the new supreme leader from Tehran, Mojtaba Khamenei, who was said to have been injured as a result of American and Israeli attacks.
The information appeared in the foreign press, referring to journalists from Kuwait, who claim to have received confirmation from high-ranking officials. The names of these officials are not mentioned. Officially, neither Tehran nor Moscow have confirmed this information. Details about the flight were found on international air radars.
The flight was operated by an aircraft belonging to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the plane taking off from an air base located on the border between Iran and Azerbaijan and heading towards Moscow.
The press also notes that Vladimir Putin would have arranged for Mojtaba Khamenei’s treatment in Russia. The Iranian leader is said to have suffered injuries to his arm, leg, and chest.
The official version of the Russian authorities is that the plane was carrying humanitarian aid to Iran, the goods being picked up by several trucks.
