Russia will not cancel the Eurovision equivalent, planned to take place in the capital of Saudi Arabia. So far, only four countries have registered for the music contest “Intervision”: Belarus, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Brazil.
Thailand has been invited to participate, but has not yet officially confirmed its presence at the contest. In the meantime, Russian producer Iosif Prigojin stated that he doubts the event can be organized in Riyadh.

Shortly after, the Russian state press refuted his statements. TASS wrote that Saudi Arabian officials do not yet consider it necessary to cancel the event.
