The Ukrainian Minister of Defense, Mihailo Fedorov, announced on Monday the completion of the work for the creation of Ukraine’s first aerial bomb, after 17 months of efforts that led to the creation of a device that will soon begin to be used in real combat situations.

\”Its development took 17 months. The projectile weighs 250 kilograms\”, wrote Minister Fedorov on his X platform account, where he emphasized that this type of bomb has \”a unique design, specially created for the realities of modern warfare\”.

The result of the work of the Brave1 defense cluster members, this bomb is a 100% Ukrainian product, he said, according to Kiev media, writes Agerpres.

The bomb was designed to destroy fortifications, command posts, and other targets located at a significant depth and at a distance of tens of kilometers.

Ukraine had no guided aerial bomb. Now it does.
