Russian leader Vladimir Putin stated on Friday that he sees no reason to meet with Vladimir Zelenski. The message comes after the Ukrainian president published an open letter, proposing the organization of face-to-face discussions, to agree on ending the war.
The Russian president has described his counterpart’s letter as impudent, reports news.ro. In his opinion, the document does not seem to be a sincere proposal to start discussions.
“This letter contains some rather impudent remarks. Was it a way to create the conditions for a face-to-face meeting, or a way to avoid organizing a face-to-face meeting? I believe it was the latter,” commented Putin.
Vladimir Zelensky published an open letter on Thursday, in which he suggested to the Russian leader to have the courage to end the war.
