Donald Trump wrote on Sunday, on his social network, Truth Social, that the British Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, is set to resign, accusing him of having “failed badly” in the areas of immigration and energy.
This is about a new violation of diplomatic protocol by the US president. He often makes such blunders and insulting statements. Most recently, he entered into a war of words with Giorgia Meloni, until recently an ally of his, saying about her that she “begged” him for a picture.
“Keir Starmer will resign from his position as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. He has failed badly in two very important issues – IMMIGRATION AND ENERGY. I wish him all the best!”, wrote Trump.
Starmer reaffirmed on Friday that he will fight to stay in power, following the election to parliament of his main rival, Andy Burnham, the Mayor of Greater Manchester, favored to win the leadership of the party and, by extension, of the British government.
