The United States of America has conducted the first test of the “Golden Dome” system. It is about a missile defense network.
Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth and Technical Director Emil Michael participated in a demonstration of laser and wave weapons, writes Meduza. The maneuvers took place in New Mexico.
“Today, the first test of the Golden Dome for America project was a complete success and it was an honor to assist,” declared Pete Hegseth.
Golden Dome is designed to create a network of hundreds of satellites to detect, track, and intercept any missiles launched towards the USA. The American program was designed to counter threats from China and Russia.
The project is inspired by Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system.
