The Russian army allegedly used a North Korean missile in an attack launched on Wednesday night towards Thursday on the town of Radushnoi in the Krivoi Rog region – an area of Ukraine from where Vladimir Zelenski originates. As a result, several members of a family died.
The statements were made by sources for Reuters, under the protection of anonymity. The cited source notes that this is the first time in a year that Russian soldiers have used North Korean missiles in the war in Ukraine. The last time, they were used on August 8, 2025.
In the past, Russia has launched North Korean missiles to attack Ukrainian targets, but their use after a long break indicates that Moscow has a new stockpile of weapons, as it intensifies its missile attacks on Ukraine, writes Agerpres.
Russia attacked Ukraine with dozens of missiles and hundreds of drones during the night from Wednesday to Thursday. Vladimir Zelenski announced that at least eight people were killed.
