A drone crashed and exploded in the Republic of Moldova. The incident occurred on August 9 in the town of Crocmaz, in the Ștefan Vodă district.
Law enforcement was informed about the explosion after 13:00. At the scene, fragments of a combat drone were found and a vegetation fire broke out.
Preliminarily, no one has suffered. Specialized services intervened on the spot, to establish the circumstances of the incident.
Images of the detected drone pieces have been published by the local press. The locality of Crocmaz is located on the border of the Republic of Moldova with Ukraine.
