NATO is increasingly preparing for a possible attack from Russia. According to information from BILD, there are specific plans for the situation in which Vladimir Putin would send his troops, for example, to the Baltic states – Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. The main objectives of NATO: to stop the Russian troops and massively weaken Russia.
Specifically, it is about three strategies through which the West intends to retaliate. These make up the “NATO Land Warfighting Concept”. The concept was mainly developed by American Major Andrew Pingrey.
If Putin’s troops were to attack the Baltic states with missiles and drones and invade with tanks, as they did in Ukraine, NATO intends first to stop the missile attacks. For this purpose, fighter planes, missiles, and drones would aim to neutralize the Russian missile systems. One of the targets would be Kaliningrad, the former Königsberg, where numerous anti-aircraft and missile defense systems are located.
At the same time, an “autonomous zone” is expected to be created at the borders of NATO states with Russia and Belarus, designed as a protective barrier. In this zone, only drones and unmanned military vehicles would be expected to fight against the enemy. NATO military personnel would not be deployed there. If Russian troops were to continue advancing, they would be expected to be stopped by these drones and vehicles.
