US President, Donald Trump, stated on Monday that Russia has “lost control” over its diesel industry and reiterated the call for an end to Moscow’s war against Ukraine, reports Reuters, according to Agerpres. Moreover, the White House leader asked the Ukrainian president, Volodimir Zelenski, to stop attacking Russian refineries.
“Unfortunately, Russia has lost control over its diesel industry due to the war with Ukraine. A large number of their diesel refineries have been blown up and are, at least temporarily, out of operation“, Donald Trump stated in a social media post.
The statement comes a day before the scheduled meeting with the Ukrainian President, Volodimir Zelenski, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
“This absurd and endless war with Ukraine must cease. The whole world suffers, while 25,000 people, mostly soldiers, are killed every month. (…), Trump added further.
