The working group for the construction of the 400 kV Strășeni-Gutinaș electric line, which will connect Romania and the Republic of Moldova, named “Trump Liberty Line”, has been launched. The project is supported by the US Government with an investment of 130 million dollars and has thus entered a new stage of development, announces the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in the USA.
“Last week marked a significant step forward for the energy future of the Republic of Moldova, when the Ministry of Energy, Moldelectrica, Black & Veatch, and the US Embassy in Chisinau launched the working group for the Strășeni-Gutinaș electric line “Trump Liberty Line”.
“Supported by a $130 million investment from the US Government, this project will strengthen the security and energy independence of the Republic of Moldova, expand opportunities for American companies and technologies in various sectors, and deepen the economic partnership between the US and the Republic of Moldova,” conveyed the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in the US.
