The North Atlantic Alliance has developed a response plan, for a potential attack from Russia. The strategy was presented by the Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in Europe, Alexus Grynkewich, in Warsaw.
The plan involves the rapid deployment of troops in the attack area and the initiation of operations to destroy the aggressor, including command centers.
According to Grynkewich, the primary goal is to stop a potential attack at the initial stage. If the aggression continues, NATO military personnel will attempt to annihilate command centers and supply routes, reducing the risk of a conventional or nuclear escalation.
NATO’s air and naval forces, backed by space and cyber capabilities, will strike simultaneously to establish superiority on the battlefield and thwart enemy operations, reports IPN.
If the offensive continues, in the next stage, NATO will deploy advanced sensor systems, autonomous systems, and coordinated military capabilities to halt the advance of enemy troops. The attacks will be coordinated through a secure digital infrastructure, which allows for the rapid exchange of classified information about targets between allied forces.
The strategy has been implemented, Grynkewich declared, based on the lessons learned from the war in Ukraine and the one in the Middle East. The commander of the allied troops in Europe stated that the plans are practiced through periodic military maneuvers to improve the reaction force.
