China is increasingly restricting the export of drone components to Ukraine. Beijing is also putting an end to the attempts of the Ukrainian defense industry to import Chinese electronic components through allied countries, such as the Baltic states and Poland, according to n-tv.de.

“The Chinese government is now even banning the delivery of components to these countries, because it knows that they will then end up here, in Ukraine,” said Yurii Lomikovskyi, co-founder of Iron, a network of Ukrainian and international defense companies, according to the aforementioned source.

The Beijing government is deliberately restricting deliveries to undermine Ukrainian drone production. Drones have become a crucial weapon in the fight against Moscow’s troops. The Ukrainian army uses drones to target not only key Russian command and logistics points, but also critical energy infrastructure.

The weapons, which are now reaching deep into Russia, are putting Moscow under pressure “not just militarily, but above all socially, economically and politically,” says military analyst Hendrik Remmel from the Bundeswehr think tank, the German Institute for Defense and Strategic Studies (GIDS), in an interview given to ntv.
