In the online space, several video recordings were published containing allegations about the links of the former Minister of Justice, Fadei Nagacevschi, with Russian special services.
The subject appears in the context of the pronouncement, on April 22, of the verdict in Vladimir Plahotniuc’s case, in which Nagacevschi is presented as an “independent consultant”.
In the same material, Vladimir Kamelintov is also mentioned. Following the publication of the investigation, he was expelled from the Republic of Moldova.
At the same time, a video recording has appeared online, made in the summer of 2022 in Chisinau, in which Nagacevschi and Vladimir Kamelintov (former first secretary of the embassy, about whom journalists have written that he may have connections with the military intelligence service of the Russian Federation) appear together, leaving a venue and exhibiting familiar behavior.
At that time, the Russian Federation had already launched a large-scale invasion against Ukraine. Under these circumstances, the contacts between a former Moldovan dignitary and a person associated, according to the press, with military information structures raise questions in the public space.
