Security analyst Hari Bucur-Marcu translates the message sent to Europe by the American Secretary of State Marco Rubio, at the Munich Security Conference. Beyond diplomatic language, the American official’s speech is extremely harsh.

Security analyst Hari Bucur-Marcu, former academic coordinator of the NATO Studies Center in Bucharest, officer responsible for NATO’s military aspects, with a significant contribution to our country’s integration into the Alliance, translates the message of the American Secretary of State Marco Rubio, at the Munich Security Conference.

“Sometimes I feel like that teacher who would like to explain to the children in the class what the chemical formula of water is, only to discover that the children in the class do not even know what the letters that make up that chemical formula mean, let alone have any idea about the concept of a chemical element, of an atom, of a molecule, of mass, of bonds and so on”, writes the analyst on a social network.

“You are uneducated and lazy in thinking, unlike our common ancestors”

He emphasizes that you cannot understand Marco Rubio’s speech “unless you know what he is talking about.”

Thus, Bucur-Marcu translates the American Secretary of State’s speech into common language:

“I, Rubio, am an American with family roots in Europe and who came to you, Europeans, at home today, to tell you that you live in an illusory reality.

That you are uneducated and lazy in thinking, unlike our common ancestors, those who invented the material and spiritual goods that we enjoy today and that you disregard, as if these were defects and not great achievements of humanity.

That you are prone to betraying human values and ideals, on which this civilization of ours has been based for 5,000 years, in favor of destructive ideologies, about a world order based on rules, as you call it, in which those who profit from it usually don’t care, only that they are the ones to whom you have entrusted your industries, your jobs in industry and services, you have put in their hands your freedom of decision, of access to essential materials, to cheap and handy energy, thereby impoverishing the people who populate your nations.”
