Statements by the European Commissioner for Defense, Andrius Kubilius, about possible Russian attack plans on NATO states have raised concerns in European capitals. The Commissioner insists that Europe must quickly learn from the lessons of Ukraine, where technological innovation and cooperation between the state and the private sector have changed the way war is waged.

At the same time, countries such as Poland, Denmark, and Norway have accelerated their investments in anti-aircraft defense and are coordinating joint programs with Ukraine.
