Vladimir Zelensky declares, four years into the war, that Moscow has not achieved its objectives in Ukraine. Meanwhile, EU leaders arrive in Kiev to commemorate the victims of military actions.

“Putin has not achieved his objectives. He has not crushed the Ukrainian people. He has not won this war. We have preserved Ukraine and we will do everything possible to achieve peace and justice. We want peace – a strong, dignified, and lasting peace”, the Ukrainian leader conveyed in a video message that coincides with the four-year anniversary of the Russian invasion of his country, Zelensky said.
Concurrently with the declarations of solidarity coming from several states, the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and the President of the EU Council Antonio Costa arrive in Kiev on Tuesday, according to Agerpres. The high officials are expected to participate in a commemoration ceremony in Kiev on Tuesday, alongside other European leaders.
The high officials from Brussels will also visit locations where Russian airstrikes have caused damage to the Ukrainian energy infrastructure.
