It’s clear who will win the war in Ukraine, so it’s “completely unnecessary” for Brussels to prolong the massacre by burning billions of euros, stated Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto on Tuesday in Bangkok, reports Agerpres.
“Even from Thailand, it’s clear that the war in Ukraine cannot be resolved on the battlefield, but only at the negotiating table, which is why the parties firmly support peace efforts,” Szijjarto said among other things after talks with his Thai counterpart, according to a statement from the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The longer this war lasts, the more the Ukrainian people suffer, the more people die and the more Ukraine is destroyed, so it makes no sense for the European Union to send more money or more weapons to Ukraine,” he emphasized.
“I told my counterpart that there is a fanaticism of war in Brussels and that they want to take the Europeans’ money to Ukraine, but we, the Hungarians, will not allow this,” concluded the Hungarian foreign minister.
