In the secret community of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) in Baciurino, near Moscow, Russian spy leaders come to pray in a chapel that includes a so-called miracle-making icon. The icon is also promoted in the occupied territories of Ukraine to “fill the minds of Russian soldiers with illusions before they are sent to death,” while the parish priest of the church in Putin’s spies’ exclusive suburb was caught with images of child pornography on his phone during a visit near the front line, according to an investigation by The Insider.
The miracle-making icon of the Mother of God “Taming of the Hardened Hearts” became known in Russia in 1998, after rumors began to appear that it had healed bedridden people and cancer patients and helped women who could not have children.
After learning about the “miraculous” properties of the icon, Anatoli Petrov, a vice-president of the Russian Boxing Federation and a mafia leader from Balashika, financed the construction of a church in the secret community of the SVR in Baciurino, where the icon could be displayed, and organized visits abroad, so that believers from other countries could also worship this icon.
“Before the war in Ukraine, he was always in Nice, Zurich, London and Paris and built a villa and a hotel in Cyprus,” an Insider source said about Petrov.
The executive council of the Boxing Federation, in which Petrov holds the position of vice-president, is led by the head of the Presidential Security Service (SBP), Alexei Rubejni, and also includes Igor Sechin, the executive director of Rosneft and Putin’s “right hand”.
