Donald Trump Jr. stated on Sunday, at the Doha Forum, that his father might step away from the peace negotiations in Ukraine, arguing that the issue is not a priority for Americans and that Europe needs a better plan, according to Sky News.

At the Doha Forum 2025, Donald Trump Jr. addressed topics such as the recent diplomatic efforts of the US administration around the world.

Asked if he believes the US president will step away from Ukraine, Trump’s son replied: “I think so, what’s good about my father and what’s unique about him is that you don’t know what he will do. He’s unpredictable.”

Donald Trump Jr. also said that the wealthy “corrupt” people of Ukraine have left the country, leaving what they believed to be the “peasant class” to fight in the war.
