Republican Senator Lindsey Graham has called for the US President, Donald Trump, to start delivering Tomahawk cruise missiles to Kiev following Russia’s massive overnight attack on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. “Following this massive attack last night, I would urge President Trump to initiate the process of supplying Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine, which would change the rules of the game from a military standpoint,” Graham wrote on the X network.

He emphasized that previous attempts to pressure Vladimir Putin to stop the aggression and sit down at the negotiating table have not yielded results and proposed intensifying measures that undermine Russia’s economy. “President Trump’s idea of sanctioning Putin’s clients, who buy oil and finance his war machine, should be supported by the United States and Europe,” the senator stressed.

As an example, Graham cited the tariffs imposed on India, which led to a sharp reduction in this country’s purchases of Russian oil. “If other major buyers follow suit, this could help stop this bloodbath,” he added.
