The Ukrainian intelligence services have officially identified officials and state bodies behind the Russian program “Cultural Map 4+85”, which takes Ukrainian children from the occupied areas to Russia, under the pretext of cultural trips, notes the Kyiv Post.
The Ukrainian Military Intelligence Service has uncovered individuals and organizations involved in a state-sponsored Russian program, which removes Ukrainian children from the occupied territories under the guise of “cultural and educational trips”.
The initiative, known as the “Cultural Map 4+85”, is presented by Russian authorities as a cultural exchange program, but in practice aims to erase the Ukrainian national identity and integrate children from the temporarily occupied territories into the socio-cultural space of Russia.
