A tugboat heading towards Constanța was attacked by Russians, near Odessa. Two Azerbaijani citizens on board the ship died, and two others were injured. The Kremlin claims that the ship was transporting for the Ukrainian army, Ukrinform reports.

“Russia has launched a new attack on a civilian ship in the Odessa region. The attack damaged the tugboat, under a foreign flag, Tedy. As a result of the attack, two crew members – Azerbaijani citizens – were killed”, according to a statement from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport of Ukraine.

The Nexta publication reports that there were three separate attacks on the night of September 9, in which the Russians used kamikaze drones.

Thus, after the first drone attack, the damaged ship headed towards the port of Constanța, but was then hit in the following two attacks.

The Russian agency TASS reported on Wednesday that the Russian army hit a ship in the port of Odessa, which was “carrying military equipment for Ukraine,” without providing further details.
