The EU is preparing a new package of sanctions against Russia, announces Ursula von der Leyen, after a Gerani-type drone crashed into a residential building in Galați, Romania. The head of the European Commission announced that the member states of the community remain in solidarity with the Romanian people, reports realitatea.md.

“Russia’s war of aggression has crossed yet another line. A Russian drone has struck a densely populated area in Romania, injuring civilians. On EU territory. We stand in full solidarity with Romania and its people.”

A drone crashed, Friday night, over a block in Galaţi. This was followed by an explosion and flames broke out, injuring two people. NATO was informed and condemned “Russia’s irresponsibility”.
