A Russian stuntman tried to lift a limousine into the air with the help of a Mi-2 helicopter, but the helicopter tipped over to one side, damaging one of the rotor blades.
According to TVP World, Evgheni Chebotarev, a stuntman and blogger, was preparing a new stunt, which involved a limousine with a Mi-2 helicopter mounted on the roof. He placed the helicopter on the roof of the limousine and towed the assembly to the stunt location.
“Transport failed… The road was uneven, it pulled to one side and overturned,” said Chebotarev.
He repaired the helicopter in two days and moved on to the actual stunt work.
The plan was for the limousine, with the helicopter mounted on the ceiling, to manage to fly “at least a little”. The helicopter was attached to the vehicle with securing straps.
Instead, the vehicle swayed from side to side when the engines of the Mi-2 helicopter were started, and the assembly failed to lift off the ground. Chebotarev then accelerated the limousine and jumped out of the car before it reached the edge of a cliff.
The helicopter and the limousine were turned into a heap of twisted iron.
The stuntman had previously used an overturned Ferrari as a ramp for a jet ski.
At that time, the stuntman took a Ferrari F8 Spider, which is estimated to be worth about 350,000 dollars.
