Russia is ready to resume oil and gas supplies to Europe, amid the crisis around Iran, declared Vladimir Putin.

“Of course, we never refused,” Putin said during a meeting at the Kremlin regarding the situation on the global oil and gas market.

The meeting was attended by members of the government, officials of the presidential administration and the governor of the Central Bank of Russia, Elvira Nabiullina.

According to the Russian leader, Moscow is ready to collaborate again with Europe if European companies and buyers decide to redirect their energy policy and ensure long-term, stable cooperation free of “political conjunctures”.
