Over the weekend, Ukraine launched one of the largest drone attacks on Moscow since the beginning of the war: from Saturday, 12:30 until Sunday, 11:30, the Russians announced that they had shot down 95 Ukrainian drones near the capital of the Russian Federation, reports The Moscow Times.

After midnight, on the night from Saturday to Sunday, the Russian army intercepted 30 Ukrainian drones. Flights were halted at airports in the Russian capital area – Domodedovo, Vnukovko, Sheremetyevo, and Zhukovsky.

By Sunday, 11:30, 37 flights were delayed – 17 to Vnukovo, 13 to Domodedovo, and 7 to Sheremetyevo.

The drone attack on Moscow was the largest since the beginning of the year. A similar event happened a year ago.

Russian authorities have not provided any information about the consequences and damages caused by the Ukrainian attack.

In addition to Moscow, 13 other regions, including the Crimean peninsula, were also bombarded. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of 170 Ukrainian drones, starting at 21:00, Saturday night.
