On the occasion of the summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, the US President, Donald Trump, had several moments where he nominated and praised his close allies, including those from the European Union, notes CNN.
Thus, before his speech, he approached the Italian Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni.
“Who is this beautiful woman?”, Trump said, as he shook hands with her.
The two then sat down for a photo, and the American leader seemed unwilling to let go of Meloni.
He said about the head of the government in Rome that she is “a highly successful politician”.
The leader of the United States also had superlative words for the Hungarian Prime Minister, Viktor Orban.
