The official opening of negotiations between the Republic of Moldova and the European Union for Cluster 6, “External Relations”, will take place on July 14, in Brussels, reports TV8. The decision was unanimously adopted by the member states of the EU.
The announcement was made by the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Cristina Gherasimov. The official announced the holding of the third intergovernmental conference EU – Republic of Moldova on July 14th.
“Today’s decision confirms that the Republic of Moldova continues to advance in the accession process based on its own merits, with the unanimous support of all EU member states,” Gherasimov declared.
The meeting on July 14 will take place in Brussels. The Moldovan delegation will be led by the interim Prime Minister, Eugeniu Osmochescu.
