Military expert and electronic warfare specialist Serhii “Flash” Beskrestno has published a recording made by the Ukrainian armed forces featuring an unidentified flying object, captured during a combat operation, reports Kyiv Post.
In the one-minute video recording, filmed in infrared and published on Monday, a spherical object is visible, with six sharp points and a visible heat source in the center. Behind it appears a thermal trail similar to a cloud.
According to Beskrestnov, the images were captured in May 2025 by a pilot from the Unmanned Systems Forces of Ukraine, at an altitude of about 800 meters, during combat operations. The object appears to be floating or moving slowly and does not visibly react to the presence of the military drone.

Ukraine treats the phenomenon as a possible military threat.
The Ukrainian expert wrote on Telegram that the authorities treat such incidents as a matter of national security, not as a simple civil or paranormal phenomenon.
“What seems to be a UFO could actually be a new secret weapon of the Russian Federation”, pointed out Beskrestnov, who in this way urged civilians and soldiers to immediately report any unusual sightings in the sky.
According to this, the Ukrainian army already has a special protocol regarding the reporting and analysis of unidentified flying objects, approved at a high level by the military leadership.
