“American President Donald Trump criticized Vladimir Putin on Thursday on his social network after Russia launched rockets and drones on Kiev overnight, noting ‘Vladimir, STOP!”I am not thrilled about the Russian strikes on KIEV. They are unnecessary and come at a very bad time. Vladimir, STOP! 5000 soldiers are dying every week. Let’s END the Peace Agreement,’ wrote Trump in a post on Truth Social, one day after he claimed that the Ukrainian leader was hindering peace negotiations to end the war in Ukraine. When asked about the Russian strikes on Kiev during a press conference earlier on Thursday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Russia continues to target ‘military and adjacent targets.’ Trump’s reproach to Putin came after his criticism of Volodimir Zelenski on Wednesday for declaring that Ukraine will not recognize Russia’s occupation of Crimea – a long-standing position of Kiev.’This statement is very damaging to peace negotiations with Russia,’ stated Trump on the social network. Trump, who had a heated meeting with Zelenski in March in the Oval Office, stated that Crimea was lost years ago ‘and it’s not even up for discussion.'”
