Approximately 500 agricultural workers from Belarus, considered “careless, guilty, stingy, drunk, and lazy workers”, will be sent to military exercises near the border with Ukraine. They will participate in training for two months, according to an order issued by Alexandr Lukashenko.

The leader from Minsk believes that in this way he will impose “iron discipline” on agricultural workers during the harvest season, writes The Moscow Times. The respective individuals will undergo training in the use of firearms, provision of medical aid, and military tactics.

“All those who do not know how to work will be sent to the army and to the southern border. In the forests. Our boys, the special operations forces, are deployed along the border with Ukraine, at my command,” announced Lukashenko.

According to the authorities, only after a week of training, the respective citizens will be able to use grenade launchers and a machine gun, then they can be sent into the custody of the forces responsible for special operations.
