Steve Witkoff, Donald Trump’s friend and the US envoy for the Middle East, brought the American president red caviar from Russia. The delicacy comes from the Habarovsk region, in the Russian Far East, and Witkoff first tasted it at a luxury restaurant in Moscow, where Putin’s men took him for lunch. He was so impressed by the red caviar that the Minister of Industry sent him an entire box to give to Donald Trump, reports TASS, the state press agency in Moscow.

According to TASS, Steve Witkoff was “strongly” impressed by the red caviar, which he first tasted in Moscow, during a lunch at a Michelin-starred restaurant, where he was taken by Putin’s men before meeting with the Russian leader.

He returned from Moscow with a box of this delicacy for Donald Trump.

“Donald Trump will taste red caviar from the Habarovsk region. The delicacy was personally delivered to the US president by chief negotiator Steve Witkoff. The red caviar, produced at a fish processing factory in the Russian Far East, was first tasted by Witkoff during a lunch at a Michelin-starred restaurant in Moscow, ahead of his meeting with the Russian president,” the Ministry of Industry and Trade from the region reported.
