The Tasnim agency, close to the Islamic Revolutionary Guards (IRGC), confirmed the deployment of new military capabilities, presented as a preventive response to the escalating tensions in the Gulf and the recent movements of the American army.<\/p>\n

The announcement comes as the US President, Donald Trump, ordered the sending of a “naval armada” to the region, a decision described by analysts as one of the most serious military escalations in recent years.
