The former head of the so-called Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Transnistrian region, Ruslan Mova, was not allowed to enter the Republic of Moldova, reports IPN<\/a>. The ex-official from Tiraspol was recently stripped of his citizenship, based on a decree signed by President Maia Sandu.<\/p>\n\n

According to the publication’s regional sources, Mova left the country after being stripped of his citizenship. He is said to have departed to Turkey with his Ukrainian passport.<\/p>\n\n

Attempting to return to Moldova, he was denied entry. According to information provided by IPN sources, currently, Mova most likely has the status of an “undesirable person, whose presence in the country is considered unacceptable<\/em>“.<\/p>\n\n

Daniela Crudu, the spokesperson for the Government of Chisinau, told journalists that “the competent state institutions apply the current legislation in all cases related to the control of the state border. As for the mentioned situation, we cannot confirm or deny information concerning specific individuals, due to considerations related to the protection of personal data. Any decision is made in accordance with the national legal framework.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n
