Thus, the country has essentially completed the process of withdrawal from the international organization. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The initiative to withdraw belongs to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Chisinau, which argued that the fundamental values and principles of the CIS are no longer respected. More precisely, it is about Russia&#8217;s violation of the integrity and sovereignty of several member states, including the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, and Georgia.<\/p>\n\n<p>The authorities in Chisinau also say that withdrawing from the CIS agreements is a natural step in the process of joining the European Union, notes <a href=\"https:\/\/radiochisinau.md\/parlamentul-a-decis-astazi-retragerea-definitiva-a-r-moldova-din-acordul-de-constituire-a-csi-artur-lescu--acum-ne-intoarcem-la-normalitate-si-iesim-treptat-din-toate-acordurile---222534.html\">radiochisinau.md<\/a>.
