The official emphasized that Warsaw aims to reach a force of approximately 500,000 military personnel, of which 300,000 are professional soldiers and 200,000 are highly ready reservists.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;We live in pre-war times, we are building a new security architecture&#8221;<\/em>, stated the minister, who insisted that military investments need to be accelerated to avoid major risk situations in the future, writes <a href=\"https:\/\/kresy.pl\/przekaz-darowizne\/\">international press.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p>According to data presented by Polish officials, the country allocated approximately 50 billion euros for defense in 2025, equivalent to 4.7% of GDP &#8211; the highest level in NATO relative to the economy.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;It is urgent that defense spending reach 5% of GDP (Gross Domestic Product) by the end of the decade because, if we do it later, it might be too late&#8221;<\/em>, the minister believes.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p>Warsaw also maintains its <a href=\"https:\/\/adevarul.ro\/stiri-externe\/europa\/polonia-are-cea-mai-mare-armata-din-ue-dar-este-2504258.html\">goal of strengthening the American military presence<\/a> on its territory, considering it essential for regional security.
