Russians have started to search for apartments in Armenia more frequently. Rental prices in Yerevan have increased, according to local real estate agents.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Specialists claim that they have noticed a “huge demand” for apartments from Russians, who are largely moving to Yerevan, reports Meduza<\/a>. They compare the situation to the year 2022 and affirm that prices in the capital have increased by approximately 30% in the last three months.<\/p>\n\n

The journalists of the publication Verstka note that dozens of new announcements appear daily on a popular Telegram channel in Russia, from those who have already arrived in Armenia or intend to emigrate in the fall.<\/p>\n\n

According to Yandex Wordstat, the number of searches for “apartments in Yerevan” reached 5200 in the week of July 13-19. In the period from February 28 – March 6, 2022, there were 5000 such requests, with an increase during the mobilization in September 2022 to nearly 10,000.<\/p>\n\n

Recently, there has been talk in the public space of Russia about a possible mobilization in the fall. According to an ISW analysis, the introduction of martial law is not excluded, and the Kremlin may be preparing for mass unrest.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
