According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bild.de\/news\/inland\/grosseinsatz-der-polizei-drohne-nahe-militaerflugplatz-wunstorf-abgestuerzt-6aa93fee176f7c20b935dbbc?utm_source=chatgpt.com\">BILD<\/a>, the impact site is about one kilometer away from the Bundeswehr air base in Wunstorf.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/adevarul.ro\/stiri-externe\/europa\/germania-acuza-oficial-rusia-pentru-incidentul-cu-2553486.html\">The police have launched a wide-scale search operation<\/a> to find other remains. Authorities say there is no known danger to the public. The origin and owner of the drone remain unknown.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Regional Office for Criminal Investigations (LKA) has confirmed that the drone crashed in an uninhabited area. Due to the extensive surface area where fragments could be scattered, numerous intervention forces have been mobilized at the scene.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The incident in Germany occurs following a series of events that have fueled concerns about drone activity within and near NATO space.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Lithuania, a drone that entered the country&#8217;s airspace from Belarus was shot down by Italian Eurofighter fighter jets, deployed at the NATO base in \u0160iauliai.
