The data comes from a Reuters\/Ipsos poll, conducted after the first ever congress in the history of the Republican Party, organized ahead of the midterm elections, held last week.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The survey, conducted over four days, shows that 63% of Americans, including four out of ten Republicans and nine out of ten Democrats, do not support the proposal made by Trump during his congress speech. The President promised a payment of 5,000 dollars for each American, in case the Republicans maintain control of the Congress following the November elections.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The survey involved 1,143 Americans from across the country, the margin of error being approximately three percentage points in both directions.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Approximately 35% of Americans approve of the way Trump is exercising his presidential mandate, a slightly higher percentage than the 33% recorded in the Reuters\/Ipsos poll conducted between August 28 and 31, which marked the lowest level of support throughout his entire political career.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trump&#8217;s popularity has been declining since February, when he triggered the conflict with Iran, which disrupted oil deliveries from the Middle East and pushed fuel prices close to record levels, affecting the budgets of American households.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Voters have given Democrats a slight advantage in terms of managing the economy.<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since the beginning of the conflict, Republicans close to Trump have also lost a portion of their electoral support, and in recent weeks have ceded the advantage they had enjoyed for many years over the Democrats in terms of economic policy.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When asked which party they would vote for if the Congressional elections were held today, 44% of respondents chose the Democrats, while 37% chose the Republicans.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The seven percentage point difference is the largest recorded since Trump&#8217;s return to the White House in January 2025.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Details, <a href=\"https:\/\/adevarul.ro\/stiri-externe\/sua\/trump-are-probleme-democratii-s-au-desprins-de-2557631.html\">HERE<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The popularity of American President Donald Trump has increased from its previous historic low, yet more and more Americans are expressing their support for the shift of control of the US Congress towards the Democrats.
