The largest model in the family, the X-MAV platform, is capable of transporting and launching Tomahawk cruise missiles, and analysts say that the launch of these systems could accelerate the delivery of long-range weaponry to Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Oshkosh presents these solutions as being ready for mass production, intended to strengthen precision fire capacity over long distances, provide mobility in difficult conditions and ensure scalable autonomy. The platforms are also compatible with MLRS family ammunition, PrSM missiles, and Switchblade 600 attack drones.<\/p>\n<p>The FMAV family includes three variants, differentiated by size and role:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the largest, Extreme Multi-Mission Autonomous Vehicle (X-MAV), was displayed with four Tomahawk missiles;<\/li>\n<li>the medium variant, Medium Multi-Mission Autonomous Vehicle (M-MAV), built on the FMTV A2 truck base, is promoted as an autonomous MLRS launcher;<\/li>\n<li>the lightest version, Light Multi-Mission Autonomous Vehicle (L-MAV), is intended for light missions and was presented with Switchblade 600 drones and a BlueHalo Titan C-UAS anti-drone radio-electronic protection package.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>X-MAV, Oshkosh explains, is built on a HEMTT (Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck) road chassis with 5\u00d75 traction \u2014 the same platform used by the company for LVSR and PLS.
