Journalist Kateryna Lisunova, Financial Times correspondent in Kiev, announced that Ukrainians are considering going to Mar-a-Lago to discuss with Donald Trump, behind closed doors, about the peace plan.
“According to my sources, Ukrainians are considering a closed-door meeting at Mar-a-Lago, without the press, to allow more individual discussions. They believe that a trip to Florida could be more productive than a meeting at the White House in Washington D.C. They are prepared to travel to the USA, but for now, everything depends on what will be agreed upon in Abu Dhabi,” the journalist wrote on X.

Karoline Leavitt, the press secretary of the US President, Donald Trump, said that there is progress towards a peace agreement, but there are also some “delicate details” that will need to be resolved following discussions between Ukraine, Russia, and the USA.
“In the last week, the United States has made extraordinary progress towards a peace agreement, bringing both Ukraine and Russia to the negotiating table.
There are some delicate, but not insurmountable, details that need to be resolved and will require additional discussions between Ukraine, Russia, and the United States,” specified Karoline Leavitt.
