Tesla did not mention the protests against the company in its sales statement. However, it did indicate an update for the Model Y during the quarter, which temporarily halted production at all four factories for a few weeks.

The decline was more serious than expected by Tesla analysts, who estimated quarterly sales of up to 350,000.
Tesla’s stocks, which almost doubled in value after the presidential elections, hoping that Musk’s close ties with Trump would result in policies beneficial for the company, have lost 44% of their value since reaching an all-time high in December.
