The agreed ambassador of Russia had discussions with Igor Dodon. From the images published by the socialist, the meeting seems to have taken place in the office of the leader of the Socialist Party.
The meeting was also attended by socialist deputies Bogdan Țîrdea and Petru Burduja, reports realitatea.md. According to Igor Dodon, topics related to “the prospects of bilateral relations between the Republic of Moldova and the Russian Federation” were discussed.
I reiterated the constant position of the formation regarding the need to relaunch the strategic dialogue with the Russian Federation, including the dimension of cooperation in the energy sector, underlining that the current government is blocking this process. At the same time, I mentioned that in the context of the global energy crisis, which, according to forecasts, will lead to a deficit of hydrocarbons and a significant increase in the prices of energy resources, the Russian Federation remains a stable energy supplier, at affordable prices“, Igor Dodon conveyed after the meeting.
Additionally, the socialist leader revealed that the discussions with Ozerov involved the visit of the PSRM leadership to the Russian Federation, in order to conduct consultations and negotiations on the parliamentary and interparty platform.
