Vitali Ignatiev promotes a falsehood that the Chisinau administration will not refund the Transnistrian region’s residents the taxes they paid. At the same time, the official from Tiraspol is outraged that the constitutional authorities will not contribute to the convergence fund.
The separatist official stated in an interview for Ria Novosti that Chiveri publicly acknowledged that the Transnistrians will not get back the money paid in the form of VAT.
In fact, the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration previously stated that the money accumulated from the taxes and fees paid by Transnistrian companies will not reach the self-proclaimed authorities in Tiraspol, but will be managed through the convergence fund by the constitutional authorities, writes realitatea.md.
According to the authorities in Chisinau, the convergence fund for the country’s reintegration will also include the fees paid or to be paid by economic agents from the left bank of the Dniester. The collected money is to be allocated for the implementation of social and infrastructure projects.
