Igor Grosu reacted ironically to the statements of the unrecognized leader from Tiraspol, Vadim Krasnoselski, who recently said he is confident that the constitutional authorities of the Republic of Moldova will not attempt a military solution to the Transnistrian conflict, reports realitatea.md.
When asked by journalists, before today’s Parliament session, how he evaluates the statements made by Krasnoselski, Igor Grosu responded:
“He seems to have discovered hot water. He discovered hot water from the tap. For 35 years, we have been serious, consistent people, always managing any conflict, any situation in a peaceful way. The escalation and danger come from there, where the Russian army is illegally located“, declared the President of the Moldovan Parliament.
The statements were made after Krasnoselski affirmed in an interview published on May 5th that he trusts the promises made by Chisinau and President Maia Sandu regarding the avoidance of a military solution to the Transnistrian issue.
