In the Estonian village of Rõuge, a resident who was mowing the grass found a drone in the field. The unmanned flying device had five kilograms of explosives attached to it.

The device was detected on the evening of June 10th. Some parts of the drone were hanging from a tree, and the authorities suspect that the flying apparatus might have crashed.

Some voices claim that the drone could have fallen on June 3, during the Ukrainian attack on Russia, reports Meduza, but officially these information are not confirmed. At that time, the radars of the Estonian Air Forces detected flying devices and sent planes to intercept them, but later the equipment disappeared from the radars.

In recent months, drones have repeatedly entered the airspace of European Union countries, largely targeting Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, and also Romania. The authorities of these countries have claimed that the drones were Ukrainian and crossed the border due to Russia’s use of electronic warfare systems.

Russia accuses the Baltic states of allowing Ukrainian drones to use their airspace to carry out attacks on Russian regions.
