A Ukrainian drone pilot told Business Insider how he discovered a Russian “arsenal” consisting of horses and Lada cars. He expected to find armored vehicles in the discovered warehouse, but the discovery surprised him. The filmed images went viral, as the Russians were increasingly seen using unconventional means of transport, such as horses or bicycles.
The pilot, named Cosmos in the article, guided the drone over the destroyed warehouse, steering it through a corner of the roof where a hole had formed.
Cosmos’s drone unit, “Wild Division,” suspected that there was a logistical node for Russian soldiers there, about 15 kilometers from the contact line, in southern Ukraine. Such hidden places often contain ammunition or fuel stocks, and the drone was loaded with explosives to destroy them.
However, inside, the drone’s camera rotated and showed something that looked more like a farmer’s garage. There were four civilian cars, two motorcycles, and two horses.
